Cross-Flow Filtration System

The tangential flow filtration system (cross-flow filtration system) is used for concentration, diafiltration, and clarification using various cross-flow filters (hollow fiber cartridges and filter cassettes) of different molecular weight cut-offs. AKTA Flux 6, tangential flow filtration system is equipped with 8 litersreservoir for supporting the process development and small-scale production in a regulated environment. The instrument’s design includes the flow path, and pump arrangements making it suitable for GMP-grade applications. This is a semi-automated system with an in-build touchscreen to operate as per user-defined parameters. Collectively, this instrument can support both research lab-scale and scale-up (as high as 8 L) experiments.
