(Senior Manager, Head of Administration) Dr. D.K. Vashist holds a Ph.D. in Management, an MBA in Human Resource Management (HRM), and an M.A. in Labour Management and LLB Degree. His academic and professional qualifications are further complemented by postgraduate diplomas in Computer Applications, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations and PG Diploma in Educational Management and Administration. He has also undertaken several specialised certificate courses in Cyber Crime Investigation, Disaster Management, International Humanitarian Law, Fire and Safety Management, GeM, GFR, and GST. He brings over 20 years plus of distinguished service in the Defence, during which he held several key appointments and earned recognition for his professional excellence and commitment to duty. Prior to his present role, he served as Staff Officer at the Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Army), New Delhi. He has also served on deputation as a Black Cat Commando with the National Security Guard (NSG), Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi. In addition, he has successfully completed specialised adventure training, including a Hot Air Ballooning course. Throughout his career, he has pursued continuous professional development through specialised training programmes, professional courses, and Management development programmes at reputed institutions, including the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore; the Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM), Faridabad; the Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science (LNJN NICFS), Rohini. He has contributed to research and professional knowledge through numerous research publications. He has also actively participated in seminars, workshops, and training programmes aimed at enhancing professional competencies and organisational effectiveness.
