Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography (FPLC)

Fast protein liquid chromatography/Fast performance liquid chromatography (FPLC) is designed to purify proteins or other bio-molecules employing various gel-filtration, ion-exchange, affinity chromatography, etc. columns. AKTA-Avant FPLC system is equipped with two system pumps (flow rate is up to 150 mL/minute) and one sample pump to support both lab-scale and scale-up protein purification procedures. The system has several air and pressure sensors to enhance operational security. The UV, conductivity, and pH sensors also enable users to monitor and control the purification procedure. The system has a fraction collector that can hold different types of tubes (3,5,8, 15, and 50 mL) and deep well plates (24, 48, and 96-well plates). AKTA-Avant FPLC system is operated and controlled by UNICORN software with user-defined parameters/programs.
